Hello there! I’m Izzie—a sophomore at Binghamton University pursuing my BFA in Musical Theatre, and someone who thrives on performance, storytelling, and the magic of the stage.
Living Life in the Spotlight
From the moment I stepped into my first rehearsal, I knew that theatre would be an essential part of my life. I’m endlessly fascinated by the way a performance can stir emotions, spark conversations, and bring people together in a shared experience. Whether I’m singing, acting, or exploring the nuances of a character, being on stage feels like stepping into a world where imagination becomes reality.
Crafting Characters and Telling Stories
As a Musical Theatre major, I spend my days training, rehearsing, and immersing myself in scripts, scores, and movement. Each role I take on teaches me something new—about storytelling, about human connection, and about myself. I’ve had the privilege of performing in a variety of productions, where I’ve strengthened my technique, broadened my versatility, and developed a deeper love for the collaborative spirit that makes theatre so powerful.
Behind the Curtain
I also enjoy being part of what happens beyond the spotlight. Working backstage and supporting the production process has given me a greater appreciation for the artistry and dedication required to bring a show to life. From choreography and stage management to costume work and backstage teamwork, I value every piece of the puzzle that creates a memorable performance.
Creativity Through the Lens
Outside of theatre, I express myself through photography. It’s a medium that allows me to observe the world differently—finding emotion, movement, and storytelling in everyday moments. While the stage is where my heart beats strongest, photography adds another layer to my creative life, helping me see the world with curiosity and intention.
